Job responsibilities & Required Abilities | Perform various types of welding, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to join, fabricate, and repair metal components according to drawings. |
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine welding requirements, materials, and dimensions. | |
Maintain welding equipment, tools, and workspaces by performing regular cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs to ensure safe, reliable operation. | |
Ensure safety procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment in order to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations. | |
Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, cutting, or grinding an ensure optimal weld quality. | |
Job Qualifications | Welder License / Cerification acknowledged in Greece |
Technical School Certificate, preferably in Mechanical Technician branch | |
Degree in Mechanical Engineering will be considered an asset | |
Basic knowledge of information technology systems (MS Office) | |
Basic knowledge of English (spoken/written) | |
Car driving license, a professional driving license will be considered an asset | |
Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates) | |
Experience | At least three (3) years of proven working experience |
Knowledge Prefered Skills | Good knowledge in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc welding) with the ability to select the appropriate method based on materials and specifications. |
Ability to interpret technical blueprints | |
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve welding issues. | |
Understanding of different metal properties and how they respond to heat, stress, and joining methods. |
