14 January 2025. The Management of PPA S.A. welcomed the MSC Sinfonia to the port of Piraeus for 2025, hosting a special event where PPA’s DCEO, Cpt. Jin Beiyuan, exchanged commemorative plaques with the ship’s captain, Mr. Giuseppe Gazzano.

9 January 2025. Announcement about adjustment of fees and tariffs for the provision of ship generated solid waste management services  

7 January 2025. PPA S.A. welcomed the Viking Saturn, the first cruise ship of the new year, to the Port of Piraeus through a special ceremony that included a traditional exchange of plaques and treats for passengers during check-in at the cruise terminal.  

23 December 2024. Piraeus Port Authority S.A. has received two new prestigious awards, being named both True Leader and ESG Leading Company of the Year.  

18 December 2024. With Christmas and the New Year approaching, PPA S.A. successfully concluded its comprehensive annual social contribution program, delivering impactful initiatives to strengthen and support local communities, neighboring municipalities, children and the company’s employees.  

05 December 2024. PPA S.A. conducted its annual emergency drill at the central facilities of the Port, specifically at the Cruise Terminal, simulating a marine and land spillage incident.

14 November 2024. Once again, Piraeus Port Authority made a notable impact at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2024 in Shanghai, from November 5 to 10, reinforcing its strategic importance as a bridge of cooperation between West and East.

 12 November 2024. The Port of Piraeus has once again been recognized for excellence in passenger transport, receiving the prestigious “Ferry Shipping Port of the Year 2024” award at a special ceremony during the European Ferry Shipping Summit.  

07 October 2024. PPA S.A. has been honored with five prestigious awards, recognizing its outstanding performance in the vital areas of environmental protection and regulatory compliance. These distinctions highlight PPA’s commitment to high standards of sustainability and responsible corporate governance, reinforcing its dedication to the continuous enhancement of Greece’s largest port.   

27 September 2024. PPA S.A. recorded a new increase in revenue and profits for the First Half of 2024, achieving once again the best performance in its history for this period.
