16 July 2026. Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (PPA S.A.) and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), launching a strategic collaboration in the fields of research, technological advancement, and sustainable port development.

PPA S.A. publishes its 2025 Sustainability Report

15 July 2026. PPA S.A. continues to invest systematically in the sustainable development and modernization of the Port of Piraeus by integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles into its corporate strategy and operations. In this context, the Company has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, prepared in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), providing a transparent overview of its performance, initiatives and objectives across the three pillars of sustainability.

PPA S.A.: Successfully Holds Annual General Meeting – Gross Dividend of €1.896 per Share Approved

30 June 2026 – PPA S.A. successfully held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders today, in accordance with the applicable procedures, with shareholders representing 83.40% of the Company's share capital participating in the meeting.  

PPA S.A.: Delegation of SELPE Visits Piraeus Port Authority

29 June 2026. PPA S.A. welcomed a delegation from the Hellenic Retail Business Association (SELPE), led by the President of SELPE and PLAISIO S.A., Mr. Kostas Gerardos, to the Company’s headquarters on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The meeting focused on matters concerning the operation of the Port of Piraeus and the prospects for further cooperation between the two entities.  

PPA S.A. Receives the Diversity Label from the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs

22 June 2026. Piraeus Port Authority S.A. was among the 41 major private-sector companies in Greece to receive the Diversity Label for the first time, an institutional distinction awarded by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs, recognizing companies that implement policies and practices promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.  

PPA S.A.: Supporting HELMEPA’s mission through the creation of the new “HELMEPA HOME” in Piraeus

08 June 2026. PPA S.A. announces with great satisfaction its cooperation with the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association – HELMEPA, supporting the creation of the new “HELMEPA HOME” in Piraeus, a space dedicated to the sea, the marine environment, education, and the younger generation.

02 June 2026. At the opening ceremony of the prestigious "Posidonia 2026" international shipping exhibition, the Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Minister of Shipping and Insular Policy, Mr. Vasilis Kikilias, the Ambassador of China to Greece, Mr. Fang Qiu, the President of Union of Greek Shipowners, Ms. Melina Travlos, as well as other government representatives and press representatives, visited the PPA booth where they were warmly welcomed by Chairman of Piraeus Port Authority S.A., Mr. Han Chao and other executives of the Company.

PPA S.A.: Visit of a Delegation from Georgia to the Port of Piraeus

18 May 2026. On 13 May 2026, PPA S.A. welcomed a delegation from Georgia to the Port of Piraeus, headed by Ms. Tamar Ioseliani, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, who visited PPA on behalf of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Ms. Mariam Kvrivishvili.

PPA S.A.: Visit of a Delegation of leading Port and Shipbuilding Organizations from Israel to the Port of Piraeus

14 May 2026. In the context of the international Mare MED III Athens Conference 2026, held in Athens from 11 to 13 May 2026 under the auspices of Enterprise Greece, a meeting was held at the headquarters of PPA S.A. between executives of Piraeus Port Authority, led by the Deputy CEO of PPA S.A., Mr. Angelos Karakostas, and a high-level delegation from Israel, with the aim of strengthening Greek-Israeli cooperation in the fields of ports, shipping and infrastructure.  

PPA S.A.: Presentation of PPA S.A.’s 2025 Financial Results to the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association

07 May 2026. PPA S.A. presented its financial results for fiscal year 2025 to the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association at Euronext Athens. The presentation was delivered by Company executives, led by Deputy CEO Mr. Angelos Karakostas, and was followed by a discussion with the participating institutional investors and analysts, during which questions were addressed regarding the performance of the port’s business activities.

06 May 2026. The Chairman of PPA S.A., Mr. Han Chao, and the company’s Deputy CEO, Mr. Angelos Karakostas, welcomed at the headquarters of PPA S.A. the Rector of the National Technical University of Athens, Professor Ioannis Chatjigeorgiou, as well as Professor Nikolaos Ventikos from the School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering of NTUA.

4 May 2026. PPA SA, following the provisions of published fees and charges applied at ship generated liquid waste management services and more specifically in accordance with article 12, implements an adjustment by 13.71 %, with starting date on May 1, 2026.

This is a modern, open public space designed to serve as a place for gathering, recreation, and creative activities for people of all ages. On Tuesday, April 28, Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (PPA S.A.) presented the commencement of construction works for a new Park featuring a Model Playground and a Bike Lane, reaffirming its commitment to investments with a meaningful social impact.  

PPA S.A: Announcement about adjustment of fees and tariffs for the provision of ship generated liquid waste management services

Press Release   PPA S.A: Announcement about adjustment of fees and tariffs for the provision of ship generated liquid waste management services 4 May 2026 PPA SA, following the provisions of published fees and charges applied at ship generated liquid waste management services and more specifically in accordance with article 12, implements an adjustment by 13.71 %, with starting date on May 1, 2026. The System for covering the costs of providing liquid waste reception facilities has updated in accordance with the approved ship waste management plan of PPA, with most notably the activation of the fee for sewage waste delivery and the procedure for the use of the fixed sewage network. It is noted that for the coastal shipping sector, the relevant adjustment of fees and tariffs will be implemented when the procedure provided for in Law 4404/2016 is completed and a new information note will be circulated.

PPA S.A.: Emergency Preparedness Drill for Sea Pollution Response at the Port of Piraeus  

08 April 2026. On March 31st, an activation drill of the PPA Spillage Contingency Plan was conducted at the Cruise Terminal of PPA S.A., simulating a sea pollution incident.

PPA S.A.: Transportation of Electric Buses through the Port of Piraeus  

06 April 2026. In the early morning hours of Saturday, 4 April, 155 electric buses manufactured by Yutong were successfully received and unloaded by Piraeus Port Authority staff at the Port's Car Terminal. Of these, 125 will be added to the fleet of OSY S.A. (Athens Urban Transport Organization), while the remaining 30 are destined for Serbia.
