In the context of the annual conference of ESPO (EUROPEAN SEA PORTS ORGANIZATION), which took place in Thessaloniki following the General Assembly held on 7th, 8th, and 9th of May 2025, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PPA S.A., Mr. Panagiotis Tsonis, met with the European Union Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, Mr. Apostolos Tzitzikostas.  

09 May 2025 –Τhe CEO of Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (PPA S.A.), Mr. Su Xudong, visited Piraeus City Hall and held a conversation with the Mayor of Piraeus, Mr. Yiannis Moralis upon the beginning of the summer season.  

28 April 2025. The Port of Piraeus took a significant step in expanding its role as a key vehicle transshipment hub in the Eastern Mediterranean with the arrival of the MV COSCO SHENG SHI, from COSCO Shipping Car Carriers to call at the Greek port, marking the launch of a new regular monthly service by China’s largest maritime vehicle transport provider.

31 March 2025. Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (PPA) reported financial results for the fiscal year 2024, posting record-high net profit and dividend distribution, along with strong performance across its core business segments.

27 February 2025. A delegation from the Construction and Transportation Committee of the Incheon Metropolitan Council of the Republic of Korea visited the Piraeus Port Authority (PPA S.A.), engaging in discussions on port operations and cruise sector development.

14 January 2025. The Management of PPA S.A. welcomed the MSC Sinfonia to the port of Piraeus for 2025, hosting a special event where PPA’s DCEO, Cpt. Jin Beiyuan, exchanged commemorative plaques with the ship’s captain, Mr. Giuseppe Gazzano.
