PPA S.A. Administration Board Announcement about adjustment of fees and tariffs for the provision of ship generated liquid waste management services
11 October 2023. PPA S.A. announces, by decision of Administration Board, an adjustment of fees and tariffs for the provision of ship generated liquid waste management services (ANNEX I & IV_ liquid waste), with starting date January 1, 2024.
The necessity of the readjustment arose after an evaluation of the cost data of the provided services and more specifically the annual inflation, the increase in energy and fuel costs, the cost of liquid waste management/processing, the continuously increasing requirements of the environmental legislation as well as that the existing fees and tariffs have not been adjusted since 2010.
The adjustments implement to all the categories of ships. Specifically, for the category of coastal shipping services vessels, the prescribed procedure will be applied in accordance with the Concession Agreement L.4404/2016.
PPA S.A. in the next period will communicate analytically the new fees and tariffs in detail with the Port user groups.
