Working Hours | Monday - Friday, 07:00-15:00 |
Job responsibilities & Required Abilities | Operate conventional machine tools (such as lathes, milling machines, bohring, and grinders) to fabricate, modify, and repair parts |
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining operations required | |
Conduct routine maintenance on machine tools, keeping them in optimal working condition through regular cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement as needed | |
Ensures a safe working environment and strict compliance with Health and Safety regulations and other relevant port procedures | |
Handle raw materials and prepare them for machining | |
Job Qualifications | Mechanical working license / certifications acknowledged in Greece |
Technical School Certificate, preferably in Mechanical Technician branch | |
Degree in Mechanical Engineering will be considered an asset | |
Basic knowledge of information technology systems (MS Office) | |
Basic knowledge of English (spoken/written) | |
Car driving license, a professional driving license will be considered an asset | |
Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates) | |
Experience | At least three (3) years of working proven experience in in operation of conventional machine tools |
Knowledge Prefered Skills |
Good knowledge in using conventional machining tools |
Ability to interpret technical blueprints, schematics | |
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues | |
Skilled in using tools like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges to verify part accuracy and maintain quality |
