PPA SA announce, by decision of Administration Board, an adjustment of fees and tariffs for the provision of ship generated waste management services (ANNEX V_solid waste), with starting date January 1, 2023.
The adjustment amounts to 50% of the existing fees and tariffs. The necessity of the readjustment arose after an evaluation of the cost data of the provided services and more specifically the annual inflation, the increase in energy and fuel costs, the cost of solid waste management/processing as well as the variation of the cost of final disposal, the continuously increasing requirements of the environmental legislation as well as that the existing fees and tariffs have not been adjusted for at least a decade (since 2009).
The adjustments implement to all the categories of ships. Specifically, for the category of coastal shipping services vessels, the prescribed procedure will be applied in accordance with the Concession Agreement L.4404/2016.
PPA SA in the next period will communicate analytically the new fees and tariffs in detail with the Port user groups through the Marketing Department.
