Piraeus Eco-port status

PPA SA is now one of the nine (9) European Ports, which are certified by Lloyd's Register of Shipping according to the European Standard for Environmental Management (PERS), following its inclusion by the European Seaports Organization (ESPO) in the list of the Eco-ports of Europe.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PPA S.A. Mr. G. Anomeritis mentioned: “We are glad that international Organizations confirm our systematic work for the protection of the environment of Piraeus Port”
Today, the Piraeus Port is the only one big port in the Mediterranean holding a certificate of Environmental Management and this is a significant achievement.
