The master, Vincenzo Alcaras, and the officers of the new cruise vessel, CARNIVAL BREEZE, which arrived at the port of Piraeus as the first stop of its maiden voyage, were visited by the President and CEO of PPA SA George Anomeritis, President of MedCruise, Stavros Hatzakos, and the managerial cruise executives Mr. T. Tsitouras and Mr. D. Agrapidis.
Through the exchange of souvenirs at the official welcoming event of the ship, Mr. George Anomeritis said that "the cruise and the development of it is a priority for Greece and PPA SA. With the necessary infrastructure changes which we are currently conducting, we are turning the port of Piraeus into a hub of the whole Mediterranean. The port of Piraeus is the port providing full cruise services, among which are safety and quality services. We are pleased to welcome and serve a new generation of cruise ship, the newest of the international fleet, as it was registered and started its service in the Mediterranean just after the 1st of June".
