The approving of projects for port infrastructure maintenance was decided by the Board of Directors of PPA SA.
This work will be auctioned by proclamation of open auction and has a budget according to the study of 750.000 Euros (excluding VAT).
The project involves maintenance and improvement of port infrastructure in the land area of PPA SA, with an overall completion period of 12 months.
As is known the existing port infrastructure of PPA SA throughout all the port area from the Themistokleous pier at the central port until the repair base of Perama with a length of 22.500 meters of quays with 500 ship mooring positions, bumpers and many ramps, require constant maintenance and improvements in order for the port to be constantly fully functional for security reasons and so there is no risk of accidents.
