With the decision of having the car loading station, at the Car Terminal of PPA SA in N. Ikonio, in full operation by September 2013, ended the meeting held at PPA SA HQ, with the presence of the President and CEO of PPA SA, Mr. George Anomeritis, the CEO of ERGOSE SA, Mr. Costas Spiliopoulos, and managers of both companies.
ERGOSE SA informed the PPA that all remaining technical work on commercial, container and car terminals will be completed by the end of June 2013.
It is known that talks between TRAINOSE SA, PPA SA, shipping companies and logistics have already begun, so that from September 2013 the functional use of the port-side terminal for car transportation by freight trains will commence.
Finally, it also known that between PPA SA and OSE SA, a Concession Agreement has been signed, which is executed with the ultimate aim of a railway linking the port of Piraeus to the Thriassion.
