New extended hours for the services of the PPA Container Terminal are being adopted on a pilot basis as of August 1st, 2013. This service at the Container Terminal (Pier I) is for the convenience of transactions concerning the handling of import formalities and delivery of Containers, on weekday afternoons (15:00 to 21:00) and on Saturday mornings.
The PPA is implementing this service, with a reassessment in three months, at the request of stakeholders in the commercial world, and the decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. G. Mavraganis, for the functioning of Customs in order to better serve the traffic of goods.
