With this project starts the effort to upgrade the energy field and lighting of the port, on the basis of energy saving and environmental protection, as the port operations are power intensive. Note that the port has been designated by the ESPO (European Sea Ports Association) and certified by Lloyd's as ECOPORT, due to environmentally friendly policies pursued in the sea and land space area.
