The Council Directorate of PPA SA approved:
A. The maintenance and repair of the dry-docks at the Central port in order to continue to operate until full integration into the Cultural Coast of Piraeus, with additional environmental requirements.
B. The repair, maintenance, cleaning and inspection of Little Floating dock at the Perama shipyard.These projects will be executed through open competitions and the total cost amounts to 878.360 Euro plus VAT.
The aim of the PPA is, given the crisis in shipbuilding in the area (Skaramagas - Elefsina), to maintain and operate even the old plants of Piraeus NEZ / Perama through a full 5 year inspection, for the benefit of enterprises in the ship repair area.
C. The awarding of the announced tender for the staffing of ambulances of direct assistance, available 24 hours a day throughout the Container Terminal (N. Ikonio) and the Perama ship repair base. The project budget, for emergency and pre-hospital urgent care needs for 18 months, amounts to 294.120 Euros.
