The Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change issued the approval of environmental terms for the expansion of the southern cruise port of PPA SA.
This issue was the subject of statements made by the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, Mr. Yiannis Maniatis.
The President and CEO of PPA SA, Mr. George Anomeritis, after today's meeting for the Development Program of the PPA, made the following statement: “After the adoption of the decision, the tendering process begins and the construction of the first phase of the project (3 positions) with a budget of 120 million Euros. The cruise port of Piraeus is the main hub of the Eastern Mediterranean cruise industry, supporting the development of Greek cruise and its islands. It is an important day for Piraeus and the port.”
