PPA and PCT SA continue their negotiations regarding the building of the Western Pier III

       Piraeus, 11.10.2013

PRESS RELEASE

In the context of the agreement between PPA and PCT SA to build the Western Pier III and additional works, the two sides with ultimate responsibility continue their negotiations on technical and substantive points of a "Draft Agreement of the amicable settlement."

The estimation of both sides is that this text could be completed within this month and sent for pre-contractual process to the Court.

Any delay signing a draft agreement, is attributed to the intervention of DG Com of the European Commission and the drafting of the answers requested, an issue for which PPA has no responsibility for its early shaking. PPA considers that into consideration of DG Com should be entered the draft agreement and no non paper texts, for which neither the PPA nor the HRADF had knowledge.

In any case, both sides continue with a positive attitude and effort in drafting a draft agreement which, as agreed by both sides, will apply after entering into consideration of: (i) the Board of Directors, (b ) the General Meetings, (c) DG Com, (d) the Court of Auditors and (e) of the Greek Parliament through a process that is completely transparent.
