A representation of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office visited the PPA HQ and held talks with officials from PPA, headed by Deputy CEO Mr Panagiotis Petroulis. Representatives from Hong Kong and the Trade Office, which is based in Brussels and its aim in particular is to strengthen the bilateral relations of Hong Kong with European countries, showed great interest in the investment projects and development prospects of PPA SA and dwelt particularly on the railway linking the port.
They expressed their warm congratulations to the Management of the Port Authority for its actions, which have led to a significant increase in size of the company and expressed a desire to return, in order to develop further opportunities for cooperation in the fields of maritime transport.
