The architectural experimental laboratory HELLASTOCK 2014, which is part of the international network Bellastock, will be hosted by PPA SA at its premises from August 15th to September 15th.
This international meeting of students of architecture will take place in the SILO building and the Stone Warehouse of the Haetionian Coast of the Central Port. The events - at which about 200 students and young researchers from Greece and Europe will take part – are under the auspices of the School of Architecture, NTUA and the Greek Institute of Architecture.
Within the context of the organization, the Greek network has chosen as its theme “hanging town” and participants will experiment with stretched and suspended constructions of cloth and rope, thus making the accommodations within which they will live for five days.
PPA SA, which will host these events at the site of the creation of the Cultural Coast of Piraeus, looks forward to continuing to work with the young Greek architects and creating a happening on land areas of the port.
The organization of events of the Architectural experimental laboratory HELLASTOCK 2014 is yet another event for Piraeus and has the enthusiastic support of the Greek architectural community. Furthermore, the co-working of the City and Port is the main objective of PPA SA.
