The Board of PPA approved the conduct of a public international open tender for the award of service staffing and operation of control equipment safety at International Cruise Passenger Stations, specialized in Private Enterprise.
The indicative budget is 907.200 Euros plus VAT and the duration of the contract will be two years.
As is known from 2012, checks on the premises of the cruise terminal are conducted by employees of specialized companies, as is done at airports, rather than employees of PPA and the Port Body. The controls are conducted through ultramodern electronic machines, property of PPA, at the 2 International Transit Stations (“Miaoulis” and “Themistocles”).
