Christmas Activities of Corporate Social Responsibility from PPA S.A.
As every year, PPA's Management organized numerous activities on the occasion of Christmas:
- In cooperation with the social structures of the neighboring Municipalities, food and gifts were distributed to children of vulnerable social groups in the wider region.
- In cooperation with the Holy Metropolis of Piraeus, PPA S.A. supported the food distribution program organized by the Holy Church of Saint Nikolaos of Piraeus in the framework of its charitable work.
- Especially this year, for the first time, PPA S.A. intending to contribute to relieving the unemployed families of Perama Ship Repair Zone, decided to provide 500 gift vouchers for the purchase of goods to the members of Union of Metal Workers & Employees of Attica Prefecture and workers in the Ship Repair Industry of Greece, as well as the distribution of gifts to their children.
- As every year, the Christmas event for the children of PPA employees took place and the Excellence Award Ceremony for pupils and students who graduated with excellent degree and this year were more than ever (totally 60 awards).
The CEO Captain Fu Chengqiu, sent wishes for Christmas and the New Year, highlighting that PPA's main priority is the positive results of Piraeus port development to affect as many inhabitants of the local communities as possible.
