Welcome to the M / V "Highway Athens" ship by the Management of PPA S.A.
The Motor Vessel "Athens Highway" welcomed today Monday, June 3rd, 2019, at its first call at the Car Terminal of the port of Piraeus, the PPA CEO Capt. Fu Chengqiu and other executives of PPA S.A. and handed an honorary plaque to the captain of the ship Cpt. Kalin Dimov, as well as books on the ship's library.
The ship is 200 m. long and 32 m. wide, its capacity is 5,100 units and serves the line "Far East - Piraeus - Northern Europe" and "Northern Europe - South Africa - Far East" on behalf of the Japanese company K Line, one of the biggest shipping companies in the world.
During the ceremony, the CEO of PPA S.A. Capt. Fu Chengqiu stated: "Through our customer-centric strategy and strong partnerships, we take advantage of our geographic position and strengthen our competitiveness at the Car Terminal. The next necessary step is to proceed without delay in improving the existing infrastructure".
