The Annual General Assembly of the PPA SA shareholders took place on Wednesday, June 28th 2017 with a quorum of 85, 56% and main issues the Approval of the Annual Financial Statements and the Dividend Distribution for the financial year 2016 which, as the Board of Directors proposed, amounts to € 0.0892 per share.

Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (hereinafter “PPA”) discloses that on 30 November 2016 an amount of euro 6,285,940.08 was transferred from PPA’s account at NBG Bank to the account of the Municipality of Piraeus, further to a seizure of the amount dated 4 July 2016 for cleaning, lighting and electrification charges imposed on PPA by the above Municipality.
The Board of PPA SA approved the financial statements for the first half 2016, important aspect of which is to maintain the profitability of the Company, despite the long lasting strike of staff in May - June (total 28 days).
